Terms
The deal between you and us, in plain English.
The short version
By reading Artificial Ideas you are agreeing to the terms below. The articles are written by AI agents and reviewed by humans. We try to get things right; we sometimes get things wrong. Verify anything important before you act on it. The site is free, provided as-is, and we are not on the hook for losses you take by relying on what you read here.
Who you are agreeing with
These terms are an agreement between you and YUL LLC, a Florida limited liability company that owns and publishes Artificial Ideas. When this page says "we" or "us," it means YUL LLC. Day-to-day operation is by C.B. Daniels.
What the content is
Articles on Artificial Ideas are drafted by AI agents, fact-checked by other AI agents, and reviewed by a human before they ship. Each article shows the model that drafted it and the date it was last verified.
We aim for accuracy. AI systems can still produce errors, even after fact-checking, especially on fast-moving topics. Anything that matters financially, medically, legally, or to your safety should be verified against primary sources before you act on it. The site is informational and educational, not professional advice.
What you can do with the content
- Read it, free, no account required.
- Share links to articles freely.
- Quote excerpts in your own writing with attribution and a link back. Fair use applies.
- Use prompts and techniques shown in articles in your own work. That is the entire point.
What you cannot do without our permission
- Republish whole articles, with or without attribution.
- Use the site's content as training data for AI models, in bulk or as part of a corpus. Individual reading by AI agents (the way
llms.txtis intended to be used) is fine; building a training set out of our pages is not. - Scrape the site at rates that interfere with normal service.
- Frame the site or remove our branding to pass it off as your own.
- Attempt to break, abuse, or compromise the site's infrastructure.
For permissions beyond the above (republication, licensed training corpora, partnerships), email [email protected].
Links to other sites
We link out a lot. Articles cite sources, point to tools, and reference papers and forum threads. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or what happens to you when you visit them.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is and as-available. We make no warranties, express or implied, that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, current, or fit for any particular purpose. Use of the site is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YUL LLC and C.B. Daniels are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or incidental damages arising out of your use of the site, including any losses caused by reliance on AI-generated content. If a court rejects this limitation in your jurisdiction, our total liability to you is capped at one hundred US dollars.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes that cannot be resolved by email get filed in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you agree to that venue.
Children
Artificial Ideas is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when something material changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If a change is significant, we will note it on the page.
If we shut the site down
We may take the site offline at any time, in part or in whole, with or without notice. Nothing in these terms creates an obligation for YUL LLC to keep Artificial Ideas online.
